Every moment spent on pursuing anything or anyone other than Allah was a moment of loss. A moment of regret. Unless those moments led me back to Him, no matter how difficult they were, they were moments of love, of guidance, of life.
So look for the signs within each moment, for life is but a collection of moments.
“They will say: We stayed a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate.”
